Outta Shape???

I went to Zumba tonight! It felt so good to finally go back to the class I love! But let me just say, it kicked my trash!!! I couldn't believe it. wow. At least I made it to the gym, and made it to Zumba, but I couldn't believe how out of shape I really felt. I was panting, and sweating pretty bad by the end. I even had to take a couple of breaks in the middle. Wierd. At least it won't be that way for long :)

Jan 4th

January 1st was a Saturday- I committed myself on that day, but I didn't actually start until Monday. Who starts a work out regiment on a Saturday?? So yesterday I went on my merry little way to the gym. We hadn't been the whole month of december so I was hoping that Mayli would still be fine in the kids club. She did great. Not a big deal at all. There were a TON of kids there!!

It's funny, how with the new year, and everyone's new years resolutions to get fit, the gym was packed. It only lasts about 2 weeks before it starts slowing down. Needless to say the girls in the kids club were frustrated because there were only 2 of them taking on 30 kids. There has to be some sort of ratio. It should slow down within the next couple weeks I am guessing.

Yesterday was an o.k. workout. It's amazing what taking a month off of working out will do to you. I couldn't even get through an hours worth of cardio. I did the elliptical for 30 minutes and then the bike for 15. Crazy. I will step it up next week. I am even thinking of doing my running training again. I really want to complete that!

New Year, New Me!!!

So December threw me a complete curve ball!!! I fell completely away. I don't think I made it to the gym once! It was such a busy minth full of family, festivities, and FOOD!!!! I LOVE holiday food. Needless to say I gained about 7 of the 8 lbs I lost back! How horrible is that!? But It is January first and I have a new resolve! I KNOW i can do it! I WILL do it.

Not only that, but Calli's family is doing the Biggest Lewis-er competition. I chipped in my 20 bucks and decided to participate. I think it will be fun competition and good motivation. The contest goes from January 1st to June 1st, and whoever loses the most percent of body fat in that time wins! I think I can totally do it! I think there will be about 10 of us competing so the pot will be around $200. Not bad.

My Starting Weight: 199.6 LBS

I am bummed out that I gained all of that weight back. I was doing sooooo amazingly. But oh well. I can get re-focused and do it!!

We ordered this weight loss supplement drink that is all natural and healthy, so hopefully it will be good as well.

GOALS:
**Don't Eat after 6 pm
** Eat a Lot of Vegetables
** Drink a lot of water
** make it to the gym 5 days out of the week

I know I can do this!!! I am soo ready! I want to be swim suit ready for the summer. Also, my ankles are completely better so I really want to try my C25K Training again. Woot Woot.
