One pound at a time...

I am still going strong!! my weight today when I weighed myself... 189.2!!! I am in the 180's! Yay:) It is such a good feeling that all my hard work is paying off...though it seems slow at times and then I feel like I am set back at other times, it really is coming off. Slowly but surely. I love this! It really works and i feel like I have more energy than ever!!!

On Saturday Colin let me get a HRM! I LOVE it! I have been wanting one for a while now...I am really excited for it. It will tell me more accurately how many calories I am burning! Anyways...that's about all that's going on.

It is difficult to think of the long term goal...and that I still have a lot to lose...but I just take it one day at a time, and focus on what I can do that day to make good choices for my body. Making it to the gym has not been the hard part anymore. I love going to the gym! I go without any hesitation at all!! I really am happy with the point i have gotten to as far as working out.

Swimsuit Season

I am not looking forward to swimsuit season, but as it does every year it sneaks up on me!! At least I am doing something about my weight now...and hopefully by the END of the summer I will look decent in a suit...but just think about next summer..... that is when I cam across this site. Hapari Suimsuits! They are soo stinking cute and offer FULL coverage! I think the trick of looking good is just to be able to hide all the trouble areas...and with these suits it is possible! woot woot. Bring it on summer!

Going Strong!

I am here and have completed day 13 of the SHRED! This wed will mark my half way point!! I am proud of myself for sticking with it. I will follow it through to the end, and hopefully see some sort of results from it.

I am still doing my weight loss class :) I really LOVE it! It gives me something to look forward to on mon, wed, fri....and keeps me motivated. It also helps me stay focused, because I think it is easy to get bored with your monotonous work out routine. I think I will have to mix it up and try new things often after I complete something.

I weighed myself this morning... and this is coming out of Mother's Day weekend people. Down to 192!!! I am really excited to be out of the 190's. I am 1/4 of the way to my goal. only 30ish more pounds to go. I think I lose about 10 lbs in 6 or so weeks. I am happy with those results. I think I can have it all off by the end of august, which is what I am shooting for!

My motivation has stayed with me... I am so glad I am doing it and sticking with it. This is my 7th week of consecutively working out. Someday (when I reach my goal...maybe when I reach my half- way mark) I will post some pictures. We will see:)

Goals this week:
**drink lots and lots of H2O.
**complete shred through day 18!!
** eat more fresh vegetables
